Presentations, Podcasts and Camera Setup
The week got off to an intense start: in Pawel's class we continued to work on the podcast, and before lunch I was fully immersed in preparing for my presentation. Presentations are always challenging, especially when you have to keep everything under control. After the break we started the practical part - the camera work. It was the time we shot with two cameras, which gave me a new perspective on multi-camera shooting.
Analysing the best podcasts and the magic of editing
In class with Julia, we had a day of full immersion into the real world of podcasting. We analysed different genres, looked at filming techniques, cutting and editing. It was like opening a box of secrets on how to create quality podcasts. I discovered a lot of interesting things about how the structure and style of a podcast directly affects the viewer's perception. In the second half of the class, we continued to edit our video from last week, and the process was even more fun.
New creative challenges and finalising the presentation
Friday's class with Victor had an unexpected twist - we were given a new creative assignment to complete by mid-December. This assignment was a great challenge for my creativity and I was already fired up with new ideas. I also had time to finalise my presentation and do more research. I feel that I am approaching my presentation with much more confidence.
This week has been full of challenges that have expanded my skills and creative abilities. I look forward to new challenges that will help me grow and develop!
